Referrals
Invite new users to CanalAPI and earn a commission on their spending.
CanalAPI runs a referral program: invite new users to sign up and spend, and you earn a commission that can be withdrawn into your account balance.
Where to find it
The Referrals page in the console is the central hub. It includes:
- An invite dashboard
- Your personal referral code and share link
- The list of users you invited
- Commission records
- Withdrawal requests and history
- A one-click marketing poster
Your referral code
Every account has a unique referral code. On Referrals → Overview you can see:
- Your referral code (copy with one click)
- A personal share link with the code pre-filled on the sign-up page
- A poster (PNG with QR code) suitable for sharing in chat groups or social posts
When a new user signs up through your link or code, they are automatically attached to your referral relationship and the sign-up form will display referral code auto-filled.
Invite stats
The Stats panel shows:
- Total invitees
- Active invitees (top-up or subscription completed)
- Cumulative confirmed commission
- Currently withdrawable balance
A commission enters the pending queue once the invitee's payment is completed and moves to confirmed once the rebate window closes. The actual settlement window is documented in the console.
Commission settlement
The Commissions list shows each confirmed commission:

Withdraw to balance
Once you exceed the minimum withdrawal threshold, use Withdraw:
- Enter an amount (must not exceed the withdrawable balance).
- Pick the destination — to account balance is the default option.
- Submit and wait for review (typically 1–3 business days).
- Once approved, the amount lands in your main balance and can be spent on API usage.
Balance withdrawal is the primary option today. If other destinations (bank transfer / Stripe Connect / etc.) open up, the console will reflect them.
The Withdrawal history lists every request with its status (pending / approved / rejected).
Promotional assets
The Poster section provides ready-to-share imagery:
- Includes your referral code and QR code
- Suitable for chat groups, social posts, Slack / Discord
- The QR code links to the sign-up page with your code pre-filled

Notes
- Each invitee is attached to a single inviter — bound at first sign-up.
- Self-invitations, fake accounts, and other gaming behaviour will void commissions and may trigger further action.
- Program rules can change; major changes are announced in the Changelog.
- Tax / invoice handling: balance credits from this program are tracked by the Japanese operating entity. See Billing.
